Comment: After high school graduation I spent a year in Israel. When I returned to America I went to NYC, where I finished a BA at NYU and met my future husband, Steve, who was finishing an LLB at Columbia. In 1968 we moved to Israel and we have been here ever since. We have been blessed with 5 boys and 14 grandchild (plus one on the way.) I finished a degree in Social Work at the Hebrew University and worked in a daycare center for disabled elderly until my recent retirement.  Life in Israel is  not so simple, especially with 5 boys who have been in the army, but it is very meaningful to us. We pray for peace in the area.

Following North High & College, I went on to a career in higher education. I held professorships at Indiana University, Skidmore College, SUNY, and the Stockton College of New Jersey. I am now Professor Emeritus at Stockton.

Concurrently, I have had a career in the visual arts. Examples of my work can be seen at various internet sites, including grossmccleaf.com and davidahlsted.com.

My wife Phyllis and I live in Southern New Jersey, near the shore. When not in the studio painting, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with our grandchildren.

Comment: Married to Jo Ann Arnold (Wilson HS, Anchor School of Nursing, St Paul) in 1967. We have two sons, one in DFW along with wife and our granddaughter. Our youngest son passed away in 2014 due to health. I Graduated from Trevecca University and spent 33 years as CFO. I retired in 2008 after 37 years in healthcare with 30 years with HCA in hospitals in GA, TN, WV, VA, FL, SC and TX. We have lived in Murfreesboro, Tennessee since 2015. Our oldest Son and wife and granddaughter moved here in 2015. This is our 4th time in this area. We travel to Twin Cities each year.

Comment: I married in 1962,  I was a stay at home Mom.  We have 3 children, 7 grandchildren & 2 great~grandchildren.  My husband passed away in 2000.  I have stayed on at our home in the country.  My oldest daughter lives in Maple Lake and my son lives in Lakeville  I travel to my youngest daughters in Woodbridge, Virginia.
