Life is certainly strange. If at graduation someone had  told me 50 years later my bio would read as follows I would never have believed it.   So here it is. After graduating from North I enrolled at the University of Minnesota and graduated with a BA degree in 1965. During that period I spent 1 year at Mankato State and played football. I got injured and returned to the U of M. After graduation I joined the Minnesota National Guard and at about the same time started work for Honeywell. Today, some 44 years later, I am no longer carrying a rifle or marching but I am still employed at Honeywell as a Marketing Manger in Honeywell’s Aerospace and Defense Advanced Technology organization. I really enjoy what I am doing and my goal (can you believe) is to set the record as the longest employed Honeyweller. I have about 10 more years to go to achieve that record.   I have travelled to most every state and many foreign countries and still find the job very rewarding.  My hobbies include: weightlifting and walks around the lakes. For the past 10 years I have been a volunteer at the Hennepin County Home School. (The old Glen Lake school for bad boys).  This is a very rewarding activity and makes one appreciate what one has in life.  I have been married for over 40 years to my great wife Betty, who I met on a blind date.  I have 2 wonderful children and 1 super grandson.  Hope to see most of you at our 50^th.  I still consider myself a “True Northsider” and proud to be a North High alumni.
