50 Years. Where does the time go? So much has happened and yet it seems like only yesterday. I have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. The latest ones being a cute set of twin boys now 3 years old. My future fishing buddies. I lived in Cleveland Ohio for a couple of years and was happy to return to Minnesota. What's that old joke? The longest year I ever spent was a month in Cleveland I worked at the StarTribune for 18 years in the circulation department. I took an early buyout from them and went back into the family business JP Furnitue Inc. I coached little league football and baseball for many years. That was a very satisfying and succesful period in my life. My teams won 6 championships and all of them had winning records. I currently work a 3 day week and love to fish and golf on my days off. I try to do at least one special event each year. For example, I've gone on a Cruise, flew in a Bi-Plane {loops & rolls included, and flew in a Hot Air balloon, to name a few of them. I keep hearing that song "Turn around" turn around and you're tiny. Turn around and you're grown. How true. I hope all my classmates lives have been fulfilling, healthy and a good journey. With only a few minor bumps in the road. See you at the reunion. Decesaed August 10, 2018 |
