Comment: 50 years! Where have they gone? I`ve been blessed with good health, family & friends. My greatest joys~my husband Len, 2 children, 4 grandkids & our lake cabin south of Crosslake. We lived in  West Germany during the Viet Nam conflict. We have done alot of traveling.  I retired in 2004 after working the night shift as charge nurse on an adult psych. unit at Fairview Riverside. My favorite thing in high school?  Working on the yearbook. I did the cartoon adaptions for the "Hall of Fame" Some of the photos were taken at my childhood home. So if I need a nostalgic fix I just go to my yearbook!  I`m looking forward to the reunion. Look for me ~ I`ll be the one with the grey hair!  I wonder if my prom date will be there???

Occupation: retired construction plan examiner/inspector
Comment: I am alive!  I retired as a construction inspector, building official & plan examiner from 7years in City of Allen, TX, 8 years in Coppell, TX and 20 years in Minnesota municipal locations.  This year I will be married to Denis Bertrand for 50 years.  We have two married sons in the Dallas, TX area with 3 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.

You may recall in 1961 on our graduation day my mother passed away.  I did not attend our commencement ceremony.  I was married two months later to Denis from St. Bridget's Catholic Church in north Mpls.

I went back to college when our boys were in their teen years.  Graduated from North Hennepin in 1986 after ten years of part-time schooling while working full-time.

We have had many struggles and many rewards during our life I wish you all

God Blessings.

Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Occupation: Retired teacher
Comment: I graduated from the "U" with a BS and later a Masters in secondary education.  During college I joined the Navy Reserve, so when I graduated I went off to active duty, luckily mostly in San Diego.   Also luckily, my college sweetheart agreed to marry me and come to be with me while I was serving my sentence.  We liked California very much but came back to Minnesota because I was offered a  position at Orono Middle school teaching 7th and 8th grade world area studies which I enjoyed for 32 years. We've now been married for 42 years and have two children and 5 grand children.  My son is an insurance broker and my daughter is an elementary teacher.  Both live in the Twin Cities area.

Both my wife and I retired 9 years ago and moved to our lake property about 20 miles south of Ely on the edge of the boundary waters.  We love it here but sometimes call it the work farm because we've been building our house and taming our property most of the time since retiring.

We've traveled quite a bit around the US and Canada, also two trips to Central America and three trips to Europe.   We also enjoy fishing and cross county skiing.

One of the most embarrasing moments in my life was when I spontaneously laughed when I saw a Polar classmate  for the first in many years  at a football game in Osseo.  I laughed because I had been talking with a friend about memories of her not more than two minutes before, but I was too embarrased to explain this to her at the time.  I appologize now and want her to know I'm not the complete jerk she probably thinks I am and hope to see her at the reunion.

P.S.  If anyone has a viable copy of the 59, 60 or 61 copy or the NHS choir record I'd sure like to get a tape or CD or whatever of them.  Mine were trashed long ago.
