After I finished college at the University of Minnesota I moved to New York and began performing.  I started at the Metropolitan Opera Studio, and the Mini Met.  I received a grant to perform in Rhode Island where I created a program called “A Look into opera” for kids.  I was the administrator for the program and performed in it.  I coordinated the singers and we traveled to schools where we inspired children of all ages about opera.

I also performed 27 operatic roles in opera companies up and down the east coast.  I sang in recitals in Minneapolis as well.  I continued to perform operas and concerts until I joined Columbia Artists Management Inc. and became a manager and inspirational guide for young artists.

I currently serve as a personal coach/consultant and liaison to CAMI.  I have written numerous articles about singers, management, and promoting yourself without management.  I have conducted master classes for singers for many years, including classes at Manhattan School for Singers, Mannes College of Music Intermezzo and the Hartt School of Music.  I have served as a judge for the Washington Wagner Society and have been on the advisory board for the Fritz and Lavinia Jensen Competition for singers.

I offer power auditions; radiant audition techniques, the singers body with Bill Connington, coaching, fireside chats about management and placematting – to prepare singers with time management and high level creativity.
